A Traditional Christmas From The Red Barn

Here's a share for you on a nice snowy morning. We've got 6+ inches of snow and expecting another 6+ before the storm moves out of the Milwaukee area.

I remember eating at a Red Barn with my family on a summer vacation as a kid. Seems like we were in the south somewhere.

The album is quite enjoyable - very nice easy listening Christmas.

Christmas Waltz
Snowfall
Away In A Manger
Good King Wenceslaus
Silent Night
White Christmas
Happy Holidays
The Wassail Song
Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
Christmas Sleighbells
Holly And The Ivy

The Sweet Voices Of Christmas

Here's one from the Longines-Symphonette Recording Society

The Sweet Voices of Christmas by the 'Massed Children's voices from the choirs of famous Westminster Abbey and St. Paul's Cathedral.

I bought this one just for the picture in the center of the star. Notice there are only 4 children in the picture - someone spent some time with glue and paste making it look like a choir!

It's a nice collection of soothing Christmas favorites.

Give it a listen:

Angels We Have Heard On High
Beautiful Savior
Frosty The Snowman
Hark, The Herald Anges Sing
I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus
Jolly Old Saint Nicholas
O Christmas Tree
O Come, O Come, Emmanuel
Oh Come, Little Children
Rudolph THe Red-Nosed Reindeer
Silent Night
Sleigh Ride

Family Favorite Christmas Songs

Here's an album I need some help with. There isn't any information on the cover/album as to who this is singing. I suspect it's Johnny Cole (sure sounds like him), but for some reason they didn't include any info other than the listing of songs.

I've searched the Internet for any info on 'Silver Seal' records and can't find much. The record number is UT 1001 - could this be the first album they ever published??

If you can help me uncover who this is I'd appreciate it.

Johnny Cole And The Robert Evans Chorus - Famous Christmas Carols

Here's an album I picked up last year - it was in pretty bad shape (both the cover and the record).

I'd gotten a few other of Johnny Cole's records and couldn't pass this one up.

There appear to be two versions of this on - one on Crown Records and the 'Custom' record version.

Even though I can't find much info on the record, it's interesting that this is labeled as 'CS-1'. First printing??
